Confronting The Discomfort

Confronting the Discomfort – A H.O.P.E Learning Centre Live Virtual Class.

In this four-session course, students will learn and practice skills for dealing with stress and anxiety.

Concepts covered will include emotional reactions and reacting vs responding to give students an understanding of how to control their stress reactions better. Through The Sphere of Control, students will also understand how their response to stressors is the only thing they can control. Through learning about self-compassion and the 4Cs, students will start to think about themselves and their responses differently. Students will also learn strategies to help them grow their resilience.

Pre-registration is required – Must be willing to attend all sessions of the course.  No cost.

Held at CMHA Moose Jaw Branch, 326B High St. W in Moose Jaw.
